TCS Onsite Training - Rise Engineering - Cranston, RI
On April 20th and 21st, TCS Basys Controls was privileged to take our Basic Training Seminar on the road to Rise Engineering in Cranston, RI. The scenery was amazing (especially along the coast) and the weather was cool and mostly sunny.
In our onsite training seminars, we tailor the curriculum to meet the specific needs of the group hosting the event. In this case, Rise Engineering had personnel from several departments attend the training including HVAC technicians, electricians, project managers and sales managers. With this group in mind, we included not only an overview of TCS hardware and a thorough tutorial on our latest software solution, Ubiquity v3.0, but we also discussed how to sell a TCS Basys Controls system, how to remotely commission a site, the typical ROI our customers achieve, and operational savings experienced by the end user. As in our Madison, WI based trainings, all attendees learn through supervised instruction and personal "hands-on" experience how to handle routine tasks, as well as sophisticated programming through the Ubiquity Interface.
The seminar covered:
- Controller Selection and Application
- Network and Controller Wiring
- Basic and Advanced Monitoring
- Site and User Administration
- Programming and Global Programming
- Alarming and Global Alarming
Ubiquity version 3 highlights included:
- Expanded User Administration Functions
- Enhanced My Sites and Site Home Pages
- Site Level Points and Advanced Graphing
- Graphical Interface
- Functional and HVAC Sub-systems
Attendee Ratings on Training Topics (1=Worst 5=Best)
